General Contracting Procedure

The contracting procedure can only be carried out in Spanish and English languages.

In order for the contract of purchasing products from our store to be valid, the information provided by the user for placing the order must be accurate, complete, and up-to-date at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a violation of the terms, which may result in the dissolution of the contract with Ricepaella.

Purchase Validation

Once the purchase is made, Ricepaella will immediately send the user an email with an order confirmation. If the customer disagrees with the information contained in the confirmation, they can request modifications or cancellation of the order.

In any case, requests for cancellation or modification must be made within seven business days from the order confirmation, through the email address pedidos@ricepaqella.com, as long as the order has not been shipped.

Prices

The prices applicable to each product are those indicated on the website on the date of the order. Prices are expressed in euros (€) and include the applicable VAT (Value Added Tax) in Spain.

However, in accordance with the provisions of Law 37/1992, of December 28, on Value Added Tax, the operation may be exempt from or not subject to this tax depending on the buyer’s country of residence and their status (business/professional or private individual).

Therefore, in some cases, the final order price may be altered compared to the one displayed on the website.

An invoice is generated upon shipment, accessible and downloadable from the user account, and also sent in PDF format in the shipping confirmation email.

Validity of Prices and Offers

The products offered on the website, as well as their prices, will be available for purchase while they are displayed and can be viewed through the website.

Users are advised to access updated versions of the website to avoid errors in prices. In any case, orders in progress will maintain their conditions for 7 days from the moment of their formalization.

Payment Methods

The user/buyer agrees to pay for the purchased products from Ricepaella using the accepted payment methods and any additional amounts (including taxes).

Ricepaella accepts the following payment methods:

  1. Stripe Platform. Credit and debit cards.

Upon completing the purchase, a confirmation of the transaction will be sent to the provided email address. This confirmation will serve as a “Contract Confirmation,” along with a link to the current general purchase conditions and return policy.

The transaction confirmation and its receipt are not valid as an invoice; the invoice will be sent upon shipment.

Delivery Conditions

All items in our store at the time of selecting their attributes indicate availability or stock status. If all items in the order are in stock and the order is confirmed and paid before 2:00 PM, we will do our best to ship on the same day.

Delivery will be made within 48/72 business hours from the confirmation that the order has been shipped. If the order is confirmed after 2:00 PM, it will be shipped on the next business day.

If an item is not in stock, the estimated date will be communicated at all times, and we commit to it.

In case of any delays in delivery times, the customer will be informed by customer service, and the best solution for the customer will be provided, including the option to cancel the order.

Cancellations, Returns, and Withdrawal

Order Cancellation

An order can only be canceled if it has not been shipped yet. To cancel an order, an email should be sent to pedidos@ricepaella.com, providing the order reference to be canceled.

The refund will be processed using the same payment method chosen when placing the order.

Returns and Commercial Withdrawal. Right of Withdrawal

Withdrawal is the right of a consumer to return a product to the seller within a legal period without having to provide any explanation and without incurring any penalties.

According to regulations, the consumer and user have the right to WITHDRAW from the contract within a maximum period of 14 calendar days without indicating the reason and without incurring any costs, except those provided for in articles 107.2 and 108 of RD1/2007, of November 16, which approves the text referred to in the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users.

Ricepaella assumes no responsibility for the misuse of products purchased on our site and, more specifically, is exempt from all responsibility for any risks or losses, whether personal or of any other kind, that may arise as a direct or indirect consequence of the misuse of any product purchased on this website. This does not apply to defects or factory issues, in which case Ricepaella has the obligation to remedy the problem by refunding the amount or sending a new product.

Ricepaella assumes no responsibility regarding the decision to purchase any of the products, leaving the determination solely at the discretion and responsibility of the customer.

This website also contains links to other websites that are not operated by Ricepaella (hereinafter, “Related Sites”). Since we have no control over Related Sites, we do not accept any responsibility for them or any losses or damages that may result from your use of them. Your use of Related Sites is subject to the terms and conditions of use and service contained in each of these websites.

After-Sales Service and Warranties

Due to the nature of the items we sell, we do not have a traditional after-sales service, although we try to resolve all your doubts.

All products have a legal warranty of two years. In case of defects or issues, the full amount paid will be refunded.

These General Conditions do not grant any intellectual or industrial property rights over the Ricepaella portal or any of its components. The user acknowledges and accepts that the entire website, including but not limited to texts, articles, images, designs, software, content (including structure, selection, arrangement, and presentation), audiovisual material, and graphics, is protected by trademarks, copyright of Ricepaella and other legitimate registered rights, in accordance with international treaties to which Spain is a party and other property rights and laws of Spain.

Modification of Terms of Use

Ricepaella reserves the right to modify the presentation and configuration of the website as well as these General Conditions at any time.

Therefore, Ricepaella recommends that all users read them carefully whenever they access the website. Those contracting any of the services offered on this website will always have access to the General Conditions in a visible, freely accessible location for any inquiries they may have.

In the event that any clause of these General Conditions is declared null, the other clauses will remain in force and will be interpreted taking into account the parties’ will and the purpose of these General Conditions.

Ricepaella may choose not to exercise any of the rights and powers conferred in this document, which will not imply, under any circumstances, the waiver of these rights, unless expressly acknowledged by Ricepaella or the expiration of the action, as appropriate in each case.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by Spanish law. These Terms of Use are subject to the provisions of Law 7/1998, of April 13, on general conditions of contracting, to Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, to Law 7/1996, of January 15, on Retail Trade Organization, and to Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce.

In accordance with Article 29 of Law 34/2002 of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, contracts concluded electronically involving a consumer as a party will be deemed to have been concluded in the place where the consumer has their habitual residence. Therefore, in case of disputes arising from these general conditions and for dispute resolution, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of the user’s domicile.

Similarly, electronic contracts between entrepreneurs or professionals, in the absence of an agreement between the parties, will be deemed to have been concluded in the place where the service provider is established.
